The term “consignee” refers to a person, company or organization that acts as the recipient of a shipment or delivery. The Consignee<\/a> is the party who assumes responsibility for the receipt of the goods and is responsible for their proper handling.<\/p>\n

As a rule, the consignee is determined by the person or company sending or shipping the shipment. This can be, for example, the seller or the sender. The consignee is the target person or organization to whom the goods are delivered.<\/p>\n
